Narrative:
1st page: The circle and the triangle are clearly apart, their families seem to have animosities. They finally meet for once, and fall in love.
2nd: Their families catch them meeting together. Solitary confinement is their destination.
3rd:The circle commits suicide and has a part of himself chipped off.
4th: The triangle meets the dead circle.
5th: Together, they make a heart!
Critique
There is contrast between the dark mountains(which appear gloomy and uninhabited) Also the wind and the night sky have contrast: a white blowing wind and a dark blue night sky as well as bright-looking yellow stars that wouldn't have looked so bright if the background was white or a bright colour. The dark tree-like thing to the left balances out the neatly drawn city to the right.We can get an idea as to when this painting was from because the city looks more ancient.
